About Old Photo Restoration

OldPhotoRestoration.app is run by the Skybringup product team. We build focused browser tools for people who want a practical result first: upload a photo, restore it, compare it, and decide whether it is worth keeping.

The product is intentionally narrow. It is for old family photos that already open as normal image files, but need visual repair: scratches, fading, blur, dust, stains, paper folds, or careful colorization. It is not positioned as a file recovery tool, a museum-grade archival system, or a replacement for a human retoucher on high-stakes reconstruction.

Our quality bar is faithfulness. A restoration should make the photo easier to see without changing who is in it, what they wore, where they stood, or what the original memory felt like. When a source is too damaged for a confident result, we prefer to say that clearly instead of pretending every photo can be fixed automatically.

What we restore

Family portraits, scanned prints, scratched paper photos, faded color snapshots, black and white photos, and old archive images where the goal is a faithful cleaner copy.

What we avoid

We avoid promising perfect reconstruction when a face or important object is missing. The tool should preserve the original memory, not invent a new one.

How photos are handled

Uploads are used to create your restoration, store your result for account access, and help support requests if you contact us. We do not sell uploaded family photos.

Deletion policy

You can request deletion from your account or by emailing [email protected]. We process deletion requests within 30 days.

Contact

For billing, deletion, privacy, or restoration quality questions, contact [email protected].

If you contact us about a photo, include the account email and the issue you saw, such as over-smoothing, wrong color, a face changing too much, or a missing credit after a failed restoration. That lets support trace the request without asking you to resend private family material unnecessarily.
